Bill
Huth (1924 - 2015) bought the track in Rosamond in 1962. He
expanded the facility to include "The Streets of Willow", "Horsethief
Mile", a skid pad, go kart track and the "Walt James Stadium" dirt
oval. Over the years
everyone tested and raced there from Indy Cars to Formula One to
NASCAR. The track is a California Point of Historical Interest. After
Bill passsed on, his son Christopher took over management and then
passed it along to Bill's grandson, Chris. The track was sold in 2025.) |
